At the Ursuline, students can avail of extra-curricular Speech & Drama tuition during their week. We have a proud tradition of this and students are trained to develop clear, articulate voices and confidence in the presentation of set works. They are encouraged to take L.A.M.D.A., I.B.S.D. and/or Leinster School examinations. Students are also prepared for Feis work, auditions and interviews.
Last year saw Ms. Mary Purcell retire after a long spell of teaching Speech & Drama in the school, where she encouraged countless students along the way. For 2023, Speech & Drama tuition is available with Ms. Mairead Doheny and we look forward to having her work with the girls.
