In recent years, soccer has become a sport of choice for many of the girls here in UCT. This has much to do with the strength of the local girls' teams in the area and the ever increasing popularity of the sport for girls in this age group. In light of this, the school caters for this by entering teams in a number of competitions in a range of age groups.
Of particular note, county honours were won at First Year level in 2018, in our first foray into the competition, with the team going on to compete in the national final of the Futsal competition.
We are especially proud too of Grace Fitzpatrick Ryan, TY, who is currently representing the Irish U16 team, while a number of other girls have represented the county in recent seasons.
