In 1958 four Irish Ursulines arrived in Kenya, their mission being the protection and education of young women. Since then the Irish Ursulines have continued their mission and spread from Kitui to Trans-Nozia County and to Turkana County in Kenya. This work calls for a lot of financial assistance and so each year our Sixth Year Students organise“Mission Day”. This always proves to be a highlight of the school year – great fun to be had along with a greatly appreciated donation to our sister schools in Kenya.
