First year students study the full range of subjects as part of our sampling programme. Therefore no choices have to be made prior to enrolment. This allows students to make an informed decision with regard to their options for Junior Cycle.

At the end of December first year students retain all of the core subjects plus they choose five subjects from the choice list. These ten subjects are then studied up to Junior Cycle.
