Ar an bhfoireann sinsir tá Zoe Bracken, Rachel Madden, Jennifer Murphy - All Ireland winners 2018

Ar an bhfoireann sóisir ta Ellie McMinn, Maeve Adams, Ethel Rose Murray.

 

Both the Junior and Senior team were successful in the first round of the Gael Linn competition and are presently awaiting information regarding their next motions and fixtures.

 

GERMAN DEBATING 2017-2018

Team; Lavinia Bowe, Elma McEvoy, Catriona Timmins, Hannah Campion

The Senior German Debating team participated in the debating competition run by the Goethe Institute. The first motion was based on the idea that ‘the school uniform is still in fashion’ and the girls debated again the Dominicans from Co. Wicklow. The girls proposed the motion and performed very well to win the debate. The second debate was against the Presentation College in Carlow. The motion was centred on the notion that ‘Science is just for men’. The Ursuline team proposed the motion but the motion was defeated. Well done to all those who participated.
