A huge well done to the Ursuline Yellow team who beat a very strong Castletroy team from Limerick in the Cup on Thursday, 13 February. The UCT goal scorers included Saoirse Harnett, Siún Coleman and Séana Williams. The girls dominated possession throughout and created lots of opportunities going 2-0 up in the third quarter. Castletroyscored on the counter attack despite good defending and goal keeping from the UCT girls. Midway through the fourth quarter the result was sealed in Ursulines favour with a fantastic shot on goal by Séana William. It was an excellent display of grit and determination by all on the UCT panel.

Football
The Ursuline First Year Footballers played Presentation Thurles in a challenge match last week. It was an end to end game with plenty of skill and talent from both schools.
